L'attenuatore coassiale fisso è un tipo di componente elettronico che fornisce attenuazione, ampiamente utilizzato nelle apparecchiature elettroniche, il cui scopo principale è:
(1) regolare il circuito del segnale;
(2) in confronto con un misuratore può essere utilizzato per dirigere la lettura dei valori di attenuazione della rete misurati;
(3) migliorare l'adattamento di impedenza.
